Indian Institute of Heritage

Formerly known as the National Museum Institute the Indian Institute of Heritage (IIH) was created In 1989 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and was accorded University status. Since its inception, the Institute has been one of the leading centres in India for training and research in the field of art and cultural heritage. The Institute is located within the National Museum and its Noida Campus so that students have direct exposure to masterpieces of art and cultural heritage and easy access to the National Museum's facilities - laboratory, library, storage/reserve collection and technical support sections for a holistic learning experience.
